Author's note

Terminal Scanlines by dev_squid of FontStruct is a free digital display font built from broad geometric strokes split by regular horizontal gaps. Its squared forms resemble characters on a low-resolution terminal. The repeated breaks create a crisp scanline texture.

It is especially convincing in game interfaces, where the segmented lettering can function as part of the on-screen technology. Electronic music posters and science-fiction title cards also suit its blocky, machine-made construction. For software branding or retro-tech packaging, the striped letters can become a recognizable product device rather than ordinary labeling.
