Tertre ExtraBold by Jan Schmoeger/Paragraph is a free heavy slab serif built for forceful display work. Broad, squared slabs lock into stout letterforms, with tight joins and very little stroke contrast. Softly rounded inner shapes sit inside the blunt outer edges.

Poster headlines are its clearest role, especially for music, sports, or event graphics built around compact, emphatic lettering. It also suits merchandise and bold editorial covers. Its dense, blocky silhouette ties those settings to industrial signage and hard-edged print graphics.
