TeX Gyre Cursor by URW++ Design & Development is a free monospaced slab serif with the direct, orderly look of typewritten text. Its strokes stay nearly even, and the rounded forms have broad, open interiors. Compact slab endings give the lettering a practical, lightly mechanical edge.
Computing and engineering themes make it useful for software branding, technical publishing, and event posters. Its linear construction can echo diagrams and technical illustrations.
