Texico by ssaamm of FSI FontShop International GmbH is a free retro display font built from tall, squared letterforms and sharp geometric cuts. Rows of round dots edge many vertical strokes, recalling illuminated theater signs and punched metal trim. The silhouette is dense and emphatic.
Entertainment posters are its strongest setting, since the oversized construction and light-bulb detailing can turn a title into part of the event graphics rather than ordinary lettering. The same mix of industrial geometry and showbiz ornament also fits music merchandise, nightclub branding, and packaging for products with a deliberately theatrical retro theme.
