Author's note

Textan Round by Richard D Parker and Apostrophic Laboratories is a free rounded display font with a soft, inflated silhouette and a slightly retro, toy-like mood. The letters look cut from thick rubber, with broad tops, deep scoops, and bulbous feet that keep the whole font feeling friendly rather than strict.

It works well anywhere you need a short burst of chunky character: packaging, kids' event posters, playful branding, comic-style title cards, and big headline treatments. As a free font, it makes sense for logos, cover lines, and short wordmarks where those pillowy curves and heavy shapes can do the talking fast.
