Author's note

Textan, a free tangram-techno display font by Richard D Parker and Apostrophic Laboratories, turns the letters into sharp, interlocking shards with a fast, engineered feel. Its forms look cut from puzzle pieces, with steep diagonals, clipped corners, and compact notches that keep the rhythm tense and directional rather than sleek or futuristic in a generic way.

That gives this free font a natural place in game logos, sci-fi posters, electronic music flyers, title cards, and branding that wants a coded, geometric edge. It also works for short headlines and monograms, where those broken, tile-like joins make even a few letters feel active and deliberate.
