The 1st Six Yrs 2of6, credited to Goatmeal of FSI FontShop International GmbH, is a free pixel-art dingbat font made from clusters of tiny marks. Its miniature figures resemble graphics assembled on an early computer screen. Rough edges and uneven concentrations of detail give the symbols a handmade texture.
Arcade culture is the clearest fit. Its blocky creatures can become artwork for game posters, streaming graphics, and novelty merchandise. It speaks directly to retro-gaming audiences.
