The Beat Goes On by Paulo W. is a free calligraphic script with extravagant loops and a lively, improvised line. Tall strokes sweep above and below the letters, and changing widths give the writing a quick pen-drawn pulse. Its uneven joins keep the forms distinctly personal.
Designers working in music and nightlife will find it especially apt for concert posters and event branding. The looping silhouette can echo a singer's autograph on album packaging, turning the lettering into part of the performer's image.
