Author's note

The Line-Up, designed by Kevin Christopher, is a free eroded Western display font with the weight of old wood-type posters. Its broad slab serifs and uneven contours give each letter a roughly stamped edge. Horizontal scratches cut through the dark interiors.

Western themes make it a natural fit for rodeo posters, saloon branding, and country music packaging. The weathered print effect is especially convincing in event titles, where it can suggest a hand-pulled playbill rather than clean digital lettering.
