Author's note
The Secretary, by Woodcutter Manero MMXXII, is a free Art Nouveau display font with tall, elegant letters and a formal old-poster mood. Its narrow verticals, rounded arches, and striped inline treatment give the wordforms a secretary's desk kind of refinement, somewhere between period signage and ornamental lettering.
It fits branding for cafes, cocktail menus, book covers, boutique packaging, and poster headlines where you want a decorative historical voice without going fully Victorian. As a free font, it also makes sense for title cards, monograms, and short editorial lines, because the long proportions and internal striping do most of the styling on their own.
