Author's note

Theban is a free occult dingbat font with the look of hand-drawn ritual lettering. Its symbols feel lifted from an old magical script, with crooked strokes, sharp cuts, and uneven angles that keep the set raw rather than ornamental.

That makes this free font a natural fit for tarot packaging, gothic posters, album art, game props, zine covers, and short title cards where you want a coded or esoteric accent. Use it for monograms, chapter marks, spellbook headings, or logo experiments, especially when the rough, archaic shapes need to suggest secrecy more than decoration.
