Author's note

Theo Van Doesburg, from Gonzalo Carretero, is a free De Stijl-inflected bitmap font built from blunt verticals and horizontal blocks. The letters feel stripped to essentials, with a grid-bound rhythm and stark geometric repeats that echo early modernist lettering more than conventional pixel nostalgia.

That makes it a natural fit for poster titles, gallery identities, book covers, record sleeves, and title cards where a severe graphic voice helps carry the layout. As a free font, it also suits monograms, short headlines, and logo sketches, especially when you want the letters to read like arranged architectural pieces.
