ThreadFun is Chris MacGregor's free sewing-thread display font, and it leans into a handmade craft look right away. The letters are drawn like a single strand stretched between round pins, mixing smooth curves with taut verticals so the whole font feels playful, slightly wiry, and rooted in a 1993 DIY spirit.
It fits scrapbook titles, craft fair flyers, quilting or sewing logos, kids' workshop posters, and lighthearted packaging where the thread-and-pin motif can do some of the storytelling. As a free font, it makes the most sense in short headlines, nameplates, and title cards, where those looping joins and button-like dots have room to read as part lettering, part stitched illustration.
