TightWriter by Florian Mihr of Adobe Systems Incorporated is a free eroded display font with blunt, irregular letters. Broad strokes shift abruptly between thick and thin, and the edges look scraped and broken. Uneven contours give the lettering a rough, hand-cut silhouette.
Torn-ink texture links the font to collage and photocopied artwork, fitting music packaging and event posters. On apparel, skate graphics, and horror-themed entertainment, the letters can become part of the printed texture rather than serving as neutral type.
