Times New Dirty Roman is a free distorted serif font with classical, high-contrast proportions cut through by aggressive missing sections. Its broken contours vary from chips to large torn gaps, yet the underlying formal letter shapes remain easy to recognize.
Horror posters and punk album covers both suit its clash of traditional typography and violent surface damage. For magazine covers and editorial spreads, the fractured letters can turn a familiar newspaper-style serif into part of the page's imagery.
