Author's note

Times Square by Charles T. Minow is a free dot-matrix display font built with the bright, regular pulse of theater marquee bulbs. Every stroke is assembled from evenly sized circular dots.

It is especially convincing for event posters, where the lettering can turn a title into part of the illuminated spectacle. Entertainment branding and music merchandise also suit its modular construction and lively urban reference. On digital graphics, the repeated circles can echo indicator lights, sequencer controls, or rows of bulbs, making the type part of the graphic theme.
