Tiza, by Pablo Caro, is a free distressed woodtype display font with the blunt authority of old poster lettering. The caps look battered and ink-worn, with rough edges, scraped textures, and heavy slab-serif shapes that feel pulled from weathered headlines rather than clean digital drawing.
It fits naturally in gig posters, book covers, title cards, packaging, and bar or cafe branding where a little grit helps set the tone. As a free font, Tiza also works well for short headlines and monograms, because the broken texture gives even a few letters the feel of something stamped, printed, and handled.
