TobyFont-Empty by Tobias Düsel and Ingo Zimmermann of ingoFonts Augsburg is a free hand-drawn outline display font. Its uppercase forms have loose, uneven contours and shifting stroke widths, as if drawn with a marker. Boxy shapes sit beside sharp diagonals, and the hollow construction keeps the letters open and lively.
Children's posters are its most convincing setting. The wobbly outlines also suit comic covers, playful game graphics, and character-led merchandise because the lettering feels closely related to simple drawn artwork. It is especially at home in work aimed at young readers and audiences who enjoy rough, homemade drawing.
