Author's note

Tomsk Italic by David Espinosa of Type Sailor is a free contemporary italic typeface with an exceptionally light, steeply slanted profile. Its long strokes end in crisp, needle-like points.

For fashion publishing and gallery posters, the fine lines and sweeping forms bring an elegant, slightly severe edge to cover headlines. Music packaging and event graphics can use the extended diagonals as part of a drawn frame or sharp directional motif, making the lettering a structural element rather than neutral text.
