Author's note

Tondo, a free rounded geometric sans by Salvo Nicolosi, leans into a friendly 1960s-style softness with broad curves and blunt, almost toy-like endings. The letters feel built from simple circles and heavy arches, giving the font a compact, buoyant rhythm that stays playful without turning fussy.

It makes sense anywhere a headline needs warmth rather than sharpness: packaging, cafe branding, children's book covers, poster titles, and app splash screens. As a free font, Tondo also suits short logos, label names, and monograms, where those big round forms and the oversized T create a clear, cheerful silhouette.
