Author's note

ToolBox by Maxim Bonenfant is a free illustrated decorative display font that turns workshop hardware into letterforms. Its tall, densely detailed silhouettes combine wrenches, pliers, spark plugs, tires, chains, and other mechanical parts with a rough inked texture.

For garages, repair shops, and makers, the lettering can give signage and merchandise the look of a hand-built shop emblem. It also suits tool packaging and event posters where the object-based forms can carry the theme directly into the wording. The automotive and workshop imagery keeps the font closely tied to repair culture and hands-on making.
