Topiary_Initials Font

Topiary Initials, by PJL, is a free Gothic initials font with the feel of an illuminated manuscript filtered through Art Nouveau garden ornament. The letters sit inside square panels wrapped in dense vines, rosettes, and curling foliage, so the font reads as much like decorated initials as lettering.

It fits bookplates, wedding stationery, chapter openers, invitation headings, and packaging that wants a heraldic or botanical frame around a single letter. As a free font, it works best where one character can carry the page - monograms, drop caps, title cards, or short cover lines - because the border gives every initial a built-in emblem.
