Author's note

TransMutation by Brian Wofford is a free high-contrast serif display font with a distinctly literary air. Its broad, softly modeled letters combine fine hairlines with sturdy curves and gently bracketed serifs. Rounded joins keep the forms approachable and composed.

Publishers and cultural organizations will find it well suited to book covers, museum posters, and exhibition programs. All of these settings, along with gallery branding and independent press identities, draw on the lettering's formal proportions, generous curves, and unmistakably print-centered character, which suits work intended to feel established and carefully made.
