Author's note

TrashBarusa by Paulo W is a free decorative outlined display font with the swagger of hand-painted fairground lettering. Its tall capitals combine sharp slab-like serifs, pinched curves, and sweeping tails that curl below the line. Uneven inner contours and playful changes in width give the alphabet a lively, slightly unruly finish, with small hooks interrupting otherwise stately shapes.

On posters, the lettering can set a large theatrical scene before any illustration is added. It also suits carnival event graphics, music merchandise, and packaging for products built around a mischievous vintage theme. The same exaggerated curves and jaunty irregularity link these uses.
