Author's note

Trashed Light is a free eroded display font with broad, forceful letterforms and an aggressively damaged surface. Dense scratches and chipped patches break through each character in uneven clusters. The wear looks scraped and battered.

Its rough texture can echo distressed photography or photocopied artwork across music posters and album packaging. Streetwear graphics also suit the lettering because the blunt shapes resemble weathered marks on industrial signs. In editorial covers, the damaged areas can merge with torn-paper collage and gritty urban imagery, turning the words into part of the artwork rather than a clean typographic layer.
