Author's note

Trebble by Koen Hachmang is a free high-contrast serif from 1999 with a cool late-modern fashion feel. The letters mix very fine hairlines with sweeping heavy curves, so the font feels poised and sharp rather than formal, and details like the broad top bar on the T and the stretched cross-stroke in the e give it a slightly offbeat rhythm.

It suits magazine mastheads, boutique branding, music packaging, poster titles, and short editorial pull lines where that contrast can do the work. As a free font, Trebble makes sense for cover lines, title cards, and monogram-like initials because the shapes are elegant but a little strange in a memorable way.
