Author's note

Tribeca by David Rakowski, with its full character set added by Dieter Steffmann, is a free retro display font built from broad, uneven capitals. The blocky letters have lively, hand-cut edges and slim inset lines that echo their outer shapes, recalling painted shop signs and comic lettering.

Its cartoon retro style fits music posters, diner packaging, and entertainment graphics with an upbeat, slightly unruly spirit. For casual food brands or vintage-themed merchandise, the outlined interiors can become a recognizable part of the product identity.
