Author's note

Trouble Close Bold by Ewen Prigent is a free cartoon display font with dense, hand-cut capitals and a blunt, comic silhouette. Uneven edges, swelling strokes, and tight joins make the lettering look roughly carved rather than smoothly drawn.

It is most convincing on entertainment posters, where the compact forms can turn a title into a single heavy graphic shape. The same rowdy construction suits game graphics, novelty packaging, and music merchandise aimed at audiences who enjoy scrappy underground humor.
