Author's note

Tychos Recipe by Pia Frauss is a free handwritten font with long, looping joins and sharply changing stroke widths. Its tall, irregular letters twist into generous flourishes, giving the writing an eccentric and theatrical silhouette.

The font can turn a title into part of the illustration, especially for fairy-tale publishing or whimsical event posters. Its wandering lines also suit artisan food packaging, where the lettering can resemble an old personal recipe or a fanciful shop sign. For invitations and music artwork, the exaggerated curves provide ornament as well as text, echoing vines, ribbons, or decorative penwork.
