Author's note
Type Block by Sunwalk Designs is a free retro outline display font with chunky, woodtype-style letters and a slightly wobbly hand-cut feel. The forms are bold and compact, but the double-line edging and soft, rounded corners keep the mood playful rather than severe.
It fits posters, book covers, packaging, title cards, and logo work where you want old sign-shop flavor without going full western. As a free font, it also makes sense for short headlines and monogram-like initials, since the heavy silhouettes and outlined interiors give even a few letters plenty of presence.
