Author's note

Typographer Uncialgotisch by Typographer Mediengestaltung, digitized and hinted by Dieter Steffmann, is a free medieval blackletter font with broad, sharply cut strokes. Its angular joints, hooked ends, and compact rounded forms give the lettering a carved, forceful silhouette.

For fantasy game titles, it supplies an immediate old-world setting. The same chiseled shapes suit heavy-metal merchandise, historical event posters, and labels for traditional ales, where lettering can function almost like an emblem. Across these uses, the repeated points and interlocking forms connect theatrical medieval imagery with a tougher contemporary edge.
