Author's note

U-chan is a free Tibetan font with the supple, calligraphic rhythm associated with traditional Uchen lettering. The letters carry broad headline strokes across the top, then taper into sharp hooks and long descending sweeps that give the font a poised, ceremonial feel rather than a neutral one.

It fits work that wants a clear Tibetan cultural signal - book covers, museum graphics, spiritual event posters, title cards, and packaging with a regional or historical frame. As a free font, it is especially useful for short lines, names, and display settings where those extended top strokes and pointed finishing gestures can do the visual work.
