UglyQua Font

Ugly Qua, by Manfred Klein, is a free eroded old-print display font with a plainly 17th-century voice. The letters look battered by ink, pressure, and time: broad, uneven strokes, soft ragged edges, and a slightly awkward rhythm that makes the font feel lifted from worn paper rather than freshly drawn.

That rough historical texture suits poster titles, book jackets, event flyers, tavern branding, and museum graphics where a little grime is part of the story. As a free font, UglyQua works best in short headlines, title cards, and monogram-like initials, because its weathered shapes carry so much of the mood on their own.
