Author's note
Ugrown by Wep is a free horror-distorted display font with the look of letters clawed from wet ink and left to fray at the edges. The caps feel raw and animated, with thick brushy strokes, torn contours, and irregular spikes that make the whole font read like a punk poster or late-night creature feature title.
That makes it a strong fit for horror posters, game splash screens, zine covers, Halloween event graphics, and band merch where a free font needs more bite than polish. It also works well in short headline settings, title cards, and rough monograms, because the jagged silhouette does most of the talking before any detail has time to matter.
