Author's note

UKIJ Diwani by the Uyghur Computer Science Association is a free Diwani calligraphic font with the flowing, courtly rhythm of Ottoman manuscript lettering. The letters lean on long tapering strokes, deep swoops, and sharp hooked finishes, so the overall texture feels ceremonial and fluid rather than merely ornate.

It suits cultural posters, book covers, invitation headings, title cards, and short branding marks where a few letters can carry the whole mood. As a free font, it works best in brief display settings and monograms, because those sweeping curves and extended tails give even a short word the feel of formal pen work.
