Author's note

UKIJ Esliye by the Uyghur Computer Science Association is a free slab serif font with a sturdy, old-style poster voice. The letters are broad and emphatic, with thick square serifs and a slightly formal rhythm that keeps the weight from feeling blunt.

It fits packaging, mastheads, book covers, cultural event graphics, and title cards where a few words need a firm, traditional presence. As a free font, it also makes sense for monograms and short headlines, especially when you want that strong serif silhouette to carry the design without extra ornament.
