Author's note

UKIJ Kufi Tar by the Uyghur Computer Science Association is a free blackletter display font with a formal, old-world voice. The letters lean on sharp broken curves, thorny joins, and broad, ribbon-like strokes that give the font a heraldic, calligraphic rhythm rather than a plain geometric one.

It suits branding for cafes, bar labels, music posters, book covers, event flyers, and title cards where a medieval or ceremonial mood helps carry the message. As a free font, it also works well for monograms, short headline words, and drop caps, since the dense texture and pointed silhouettes do more in a few letters than a neutral font could.
