Author's note

UKIJ Nasq Bold, by the Uyghur Computer Science Association, is a free serif display font with a formal, old-style air. The letters pair broad, sturdy strokes with sharply cut wedges and a few curled details, so the overall effect feels ceremonial rather than severe.

That makes it a natural choice for mastheads, book covers, cultural posters, title cards, and monograms where a free font can bring a sense of heritage without turning ornate. It works best in short settings, because the caps carry enough contrast and flair to hold a word or initials on their own.
