Author's note

UKIJ Ruqi by the Uyghur Computer Science Association is a free calligraphic serif caps font with a distinctly old-world, inscriptional mood. The letters lean with a broad, sweeping rhythm, mixing sturdy classical shapes with sharp wedge-like finishes and a few dramatic curls that give the font a ceremonial, almost engraved character.

It fits book covers, cultural posters, editorial mastheads, festival branding, and title cards where a formal tone needs more movement than a plain Roman can offer. As a free font, it also makes sense for monograms and short headline work, since those flourished caps bring enough presence without needing extra ornament.
