Author's note

UKIJ Sulus by the Uyghur Computer Science Association is a free calligraphic serif with a stately, old-style feel. The letters lean on high contrast and long, tapering strokes, while the sweeping J and sharply cut serifs give the font a formal rhythm that feels more handwritten than strictly bookish.

It suits cultural posters, mastheads, invitations, book covers, and title cards where a few words can carry that refined, ceremonial tone; it also works well for monograms and short initials because the capitals have such extended, graceful movement. As a free font, UKIJ Sulus makes sense when you want something classical and ornamental without drifting into fussiness.
