Author's note

UKIJ Tuz Basma by the Uyghur Computer Science Association is a free serif font with stately, old-style caps. The letters feel formal and editorial, with high contrast, sharp wedge serifs, and a few gently flared curves that keep the rigidity from turning cold.

It suits book jackets, cultural posters, mastheads, exhibition graphics, and title cards where a classical tone needs some ceremony without drifting into ornament. As a free font, it also makes sense for monograms, chapter openers, and short headline settings, since those strong caps carry a dignified rhythm even in just a few letters.
