Author's note

UKIJ Tuz Kitab Bold, by the Uyghur Computer Science Association, is a free high-contrast serif with a stately, bookish tone. The letters pair tall, weighty verticals with broad bracketed serifs and smooth, almost calligraphic curves, while details like the teardrop curl on the J keep the design from feeling severe.

This free font suits editorial mastheads, book covers, cultural posters, title cards, and short packaging names where a classic literary mood matters. It also works well for monograms and brief headings, because the strong vertical rhythm and a few ornate turns give even a small cluster of letters a composed, ceremonial presence.
