Author's note

Un Dotum Bold, by Koaunghi Un, is a free bold sans serif with a plainspoken, early screen-era feel. The letters are compact and sturdy, with squared shaping, tight curves, and a blunt rhythm that keeps the font direct rather than slick.

It fits software graphics, interface headers, posters, catalog covers, and straightforward branding where you want weight without ornament. As a free font, it also works well for short headlines, title cards, and wayfinding-style labels, because the heavy forms make brief words feel firm and matter-of-fact.
