UNIK2 by David Slaager of FontStruct is a free futuristic display font with an unusually wide, low-slung profile. Its monoline letters mix rounded outer corners with squared openings, and several forms are reduced to clean, continuous bends that recall custom electronic signage.
Futuristic entertainment is its clearest territory, especially science-fiction posters and game title screens. The lettering also suits electronic music artwork. On technology packaging and event signage, the broad forms can echo interface panels and illuminated displays, turning a brand name into part of the technical scenery.
