Author's note

Upper Side, created by Xerographer Fonts in 2012, is a free trash-style handwritten font with tall, unruly capitals. Its jittery contours and abrupt changes in stroke width make the letters look hastily scrawled and repeatedly traced.

Independent music labels can use this raw lettering for album covers and merchandise. It also suits horror event posters and underground magazine pages, where clean typography would feel too controlled. The scratched, overlapping strokes can echo distressed photography, torn-paper graphics, and rough ink illustrations.
