Vaangoo, a free rough slab-serif display font from wep, leans less toward polished lettering than a battered print-shop voice with a sly street edge. The letters feel heavy, blunt, and slightly chewed at the edges, with chunky serifs and uneven cuts that give the whole font a worn, handmade push.
That mix makes it work well for poster titles, zine covers, record artwork, merch graphics, and short editorial pull lines where a free font should feel immediate rather than tidy. It also suits logo sketches and title cards, because the rugged contours keep even a brief word from feeling static or overly neat.
