Author's note

Vanthian Ragnarok by S. John Ross is a free eroded display font with a rough, hand-made look that feels weathered rather than distressed for effect. The letters are bulbous and uneven, with soft notches, chipped edges, and little breaks that make the whole font feel like worn paint, melted wax, or a carved mark softened by time.

It fits poster titles, zine covers, game logos, band artwork, chapter openers, and short packaging lines where a free font can bring in grit without turning cold or mechanical. Because the forms stay rounded even while they break apart, it works best in brief display settings where that battered silhouette can do the talking.
