Variol by Ezza Zebra is a free modern Gothic display font with an exceptionally narrow, towering profile. Its strokes shift between long straight lines and abrupt wedges, with sharp cuts giving the letters a tense geometric structure. The silhouettes are severe and theatrical.
Modern Gothic styling makes it a convincing fit for experimental music posters, fashion branding, and stark magazine covers. In game title cards and horror event graphics, the compressed width and blade-like details can suggest futuristic architecture as readily as dark ritual imagery.
