Author's note

Versal Gothic by Juan Casco is a free calligraphic display font with a storybook silhouette. Broad curves meet sharp diagonal cuts, and the changing stroke widths resemble lettering made with a flexible pen. The forms are lively and deliberately uneven.

Fantasy book covers are a strong setting for these theatrical letters, with posters and game graphics as related uses. The curls can echo illustrated vines, creatures, or carved signs instead of acting as neutral text. The same mix of pen-drawn curves and pointed details suits festival branding and folklore merchandise.
