Author's note

Very Christmess by Jakob Fischer is a free blackletter font with a sharp, festive gothic mood. The letters lean on fractured angles, clipped corners, and pointed drops that give the font a carol-sheet drama, while the slightly rough edges keep it from feeling museum-stiff.

It fits poster headlines, seasonal packaging, event flyers, album covers, and pub menus where a free font can bring in old-world ceremony without going overly ornate. Because the forms are compact and emphatic, it also suits short title cards and initials, especially when you want that wintry, medieval note to read quickly.
